A vision becomes reality with a new physical proximity
All of EDF's competencies in Germany bundled in one place - that was the vision that is now coming true with the EDF Berlin Hub. Since March 021, we have jointly moved into our new premises at Friedrichstraße 94 in 10117 Berlin. The consolidation of the offices of EDF Germany, EDF Renewables, EDF Distributed Solutions, Hynamics and Metroscope aims at a joint cross-resource collaboration to help shape and advance the energy transition with innovative ideas and optimal solutions. The new physical proximity facilitates collaboration between business development, engineering, project management and implementation in the focused teams for the topics of energy production, storage and distribution of renewable energies. Whether wind power, solar energy, hydrogen, centralised or decentralised energy storage, e.g. with battery systems, or cross-sector project planning, the new EDF Berlin Hub offers us and our partners and customers a central address for jointly shaping the energy transition.
On the occasion of the visit of the Head of EDF European Business Solutions Marc Girard from Paris, we celebrated a small CoVid-appropriate internal opening of our new joint premises and look forward to welcoming our partners and customers back in person at the new location soon.
