The geographical focus of Hypion GmbH is in the north of Germany, especially in Schleswig-Holstein. The competence and project portfolio of Hypion GmbH includes not only the production of green hydrogen, but also its use in the mobility sector. Thus, in addition to the planning of H2-powered trains, in particular the establishment of logistics hubs in heavy goods transport on the basis of hydrogen are in process.
Hypion GmbH is a company in which the Heide development agency, the IPP group of companies from Kiel and EDF are jointly involved.
Christian Güthert has taken over the mandate for EDF in the supervisory board of Hypion GmbH as of April 30, 2021.
